Iron welcome sign, 'Rooster Sings Welcome'

Stretching skyward, a rooster greets the day with a cheerful ki-ki-ri-ki! ("cock-a-doodle-doo" as roosters cantan, or "sing" in Mexico). Sculpted in rich detail, the proud fowl graces a welcome panel. J. Blas crafts the plaque from sheets and rods of forged iron. He first cuts the metal sheets to size and hammers them into a three-dimensional shape. Welded together, they are adorned with airy cut-out work and finished with lead-free paint.
